Antiviral drug with immunomodulatory and antigrippal action, which specifically inhibits influenza A and influenza B viruses, and other acute respirotary viral infections. Prevents virus contact and penetration into cells by inhibiting fusion of lipid membrane with membranes of cells. Demonstrates interferon-inducing action, stimulates humoral and cellular immune reactions, phagocytic function of macrophages, and increases organism tolerance to viral infections. Reduces frequency of complications connected with viral infections, as well as cases of exacerbation of chronic illnesses.

In case of viral infections the therapeutic efficiency is expressed in reduction of general intoxication and cellular manifestations of the disease; the duration of disease is reduced.
